Animals That LOVE To Kill People

You wouldn’t believe some of the animal species that kill people for no reason and might enjoy it.

“In the Animal Kingdom, the animals can be complete assholes and are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: the poop-throwers, who like to play with feces, and the flesh lovers, who love to attack people. These are their stories.”

Elephants

Elephants are very intelligent animals that have coexisted peacefully with humans for generations. It seems odd these seemly gentle beasts would actually kill people, but they do.

Male elephants goes through a short time of rising testosterone levels called Musth. During this time, they are incredibly aggressive. There have been several reports of elephants attacking and killing rhinos in national parks that have been linked to musth. In zoos, musth has been the cause for many zookeeper deaths.

The cause of aggression is not known for sure, but it has been linked to the swelling of a membrane in an elephants’ head. This swelling causes pressure on the eyes and may cause the elephant pain. Basically, the elephant gets really angry because he isn’t feeling well and takes it out on everyone. We can all relate with toothaches or headaches, but I don’t think any of us have actually killed anyone.

Hippopotamus

First off, these animals are ugly and not in a cute monkey kind of way.

**I must admit, these two do look kinda look cute together!**

You would think a female hippo would talk like Jada Pinkett Smith and star with Ben Stiller in a movie with a “Lion King meets Castaway” plot. This isn’t true. Why? Because a hippo cannot date a giraffe, how would they ever make babies? That movie is flawed!

In the real world, hippos are considered to be the largest “killer animal” in Africa. They look slow and docile, but hippos are actually known to kill  Nile Crocodiles… have you ever seen how big Nile crocs are?

Hippos have huge teeth and can run up to 18 m.p.h Most of the male hippos have scars from fighting with each other. They kill more people in Africa than lions have. They flip over small boats in rivers and will kill the people they see as threats. These animals are incredibly dangerous and complete assholes.

Here is a short video showing a hippo killing a lioness and escaping a huge pride of lions.

You’ll look at Hungry Hungry Hippos the same way again.

Chimpanzees

Wanna hear a funny joke? A chimp wearing a funny hat, smoking a fake pipe! 😆

I bet you just wet your pants from laughing.

Chimpanzees look just like little, hairy people. They have a big goofy grin and walk around with a cute little expression that says, “I’m not a wild animal, I’m just like you!”

Behind that cute little grin is the mind of an evil genius. Chimps are very intelligent animals with wild instincts… I think you know how this story is going to go.

The owner of a chimpanzee went to visit his chimp in an animal sanctuary and was attacked by two chimps. They chewed off his nose and bit off chunks of his butt and leg before they were shot dead by the sanctuary owner. Unfornately, others are not as lucky. I would give you the link to an article I found for futher reading, but some pictures are very graphic.

Here is video of a chimpanzee attacking a man, it is not graphic.

Now, I’ll never watch Curious George the same way again! 😦

I already have an irrational fear of being eaten by a bear and a strange eerie feeling that creeps over me whenever I’m in proximity of an elephant, now I can add a few more to the list 🙂 I don’t let my odd fears conquer my activities though…..now if you’ll excuse me while I go finish watching Grizzly Man 🙂 seriously….hahaha (Life is all about facing your discomforts.)

😆 I know the feeling! I try to go to petting zoos a lot to get over my fear of goats. Maybe one day I can walk into a petting zoo and say, “I’m not afraid of you, goat… even if you do have evil eyes and a little beard that screams ‘creepy old man’.”

That’s it! The creepy old man beard. Exactly!

The elephant, sometimes becomes very wild, but sometimes they’re so friendly….in Lampung, Indonesia, you can see them playing football…it’s true
